The Snake and the Farmer

## Chapter 1: The Discovery

Harry was a farmer who lived in a small village. He worked hard to grow crops and feed his family. He was a kind and generous man, who always helped his neighbours and friends. He believed in doing good to others, even to animals.

One day, he was walking in his field when he saw a snake lying on the ground. The snake was cold and stiff, almost frozen to death. It was winter and the temperature had dropped below zero. Harry felt sorry for the snake and decided to save it. He picked it up and wrapped it in his coat. He carried it to his house and placed it near the fireplace.

## Chapter 2: The Rescue

The snake slowly warmed up and regained its strength. It opened its eyes and saw Harry sitting next to it. It hissed and said, "Thank you for saving me, farmer. You are very kind."

Harry smiled and said, "You're welcome, snake. I'm glad you're feeling better."

The snake said, "Can I ask you a favour?"

Harry said, "Sure, what is it?"

The snake said, "Can you take me back to the field? I want to go home."

Harry said, "Of course, I'll take you back. Let me just get my coat."

## Chapter 3: The Betrayal

He reached for his coat, but before he could grab it, the snake bit him on the hand. Harry felt a sharp pain and dropped the snake. He looked at his hand and saw blood dripping from the wound.

He cried out, "Why did you do that? I saved your life!"

The snake said, "You fool! You should have known better than to trust a snake. I'm a bad creature by nature. It's in my blood to bite and hurt others. You should have left me to die in the cold."

Harry realized his mistake and regretted his kindness. He said, "You're right, snake. I should have thought before doing anything good for you. You're a bad creature who doesn't deserve any mercy."

He picked up a stick and hit the snake hard on the head. The snake died instantly.

## Chapter 4: The Emergency

Harry felt dizzy and weak from the venom. He knew he had to get help soon or he would die too. He crawled to the door and shouted for help.

Luckily, his neighbour heard him and came running. He saw Harry lying on the floor with a snake bite on his hand. He quickly called an ambulance and took Harry to the hospital.

Harry was given an anti-venom injection and put under observation. He survived the snake bite, but he had a high fever and a lot of pain.

He stayed in the hospital for a week before he could go home.

## Chapter 5: The Lesson

Harry learned a valuable lesson that day: Don't do good with bad people, must think before doing anything good for bad people.

He realized that not everyone was worthy of his kindness and generosity. He understood that some people were bad by nature and would only harm him if he tried to help them.

He decided to be more careful and cautious in the future. He still wanted to do good to others, but he also wanted to protect himself from harm.

He thanked his neighbour for saving his life and apologized for bringing trouble to his house.

He returned to his farm and continued his work with more wisdom and experience.

He never forgot the snake and the farmer.
